Ja der ED9 und EE8 ist der einzig Wahre CRX. EG2 ist ein DelSol und kein CRX.

Dafür sieht der EG2 aber besser aus und hat ein komplett abnehmbares Targadach und nicht so ein rostiges Schiebedach
...und zumindest auf der AB sieht der ED9 gegen den EG2 kein Land, auch mit Ee8 MSD und anderem Fächer und was weiss ich nicht noch was für Sachen, die ihn ja auf 150+PS bringen

Ich fahre einen EG2 und einen EP3, dann hab ich ja weder einen Typ R, noch einen CRX
Mir gefällt mein CTR auf jeden Fall, denn im Gegensatz zu anderen Hondas ist die Karosse unheimlich stief und das Fahrwerk und auch die Bremsen sind auch sehr gut (für Hondaverhältnisse). Der Motor ist auch spitze, allerdings gefällt mir rein von der Optik her gesehen der neue CTR in weiss z.B. noch besser
Viele diskutieren schon jetzt über die angeblich schlechten Fahrleistungen, ohne ihn vorher überhaupt gefahren zu sein.
Dann wird behauptet, das Getriebe würde kürzer werden usw.
Es könnte doch sein, dass die Kiste genauso gut und sogar ein quäntchen besser geht als der aktuelle CTR und dass er dank breiteren Reifen und verbessertem Radstand sogar noch besser in der Kurve fährt.
Ich habe noch keine Drehmomentkurve vom neuen K20 gesehen, aber wenn man die Bilder vom Motorraum sieht, sieht man, das die Airbox komplett anders ist. Vielleicht, oder ganz bestimmt sogar sind andere Nockenwellen verbaut, um den tiefer angesetzten Vtec Umschaltpunkt optimal zu nutzen.
Ich lass mich mal überraschen und mache eine Probefahrt mit dem Teil;
Danach wird sich erst ein Urteil gebildet.

As you may know, the NEW HONDA CIVIC TYPE R has been presented and it will be on display at the Honda stand at the Mondial de l'Automobil in Paris until October,15.

While the first prototype is being visited by thousands of enthusiastic visitors, JAS Motorsport is completing the first running Rally car which will go through severe development tests sessions, aiming to develop the performance and the reliability, in view of the FIA homologation in Gr.A and Gr.N, active as of April,1,2007

Today JAS Motorsport is pleased to announce the technical contents and the pricing of the competition kit of the Gr.A version: this has been developed in accordance to the future FIA Gr.R3 regulations which will replace Gr.A starting from January,1,2008 and Gr.N (supposedly) from 2010.
This means that the purchasers of the new Type R and the JAS Kit can participate to their championship in Gr.A in 2007 and then switch to Gr.R in 2008 with marginal extra costs to upgrade their cars to Gr.R3.

JAS Motorsport offer to their Customers the following purchasing options:

1- Individual parts (e.g. you can pick and buy any single part in the list)
2- Competition KIT (all parts indicated in the columns 'KIT') with an extra, significant, discount
3- Competition KIT + Donor car, (A FEW CARS ARE AVAILABLE WITHIN JANUARY 2007) - price of donor car to be assigned)
4- JAS made, turn-key, Rally cars (quotations upon request)

For those customers who will place an order within October, 31, JAS have planned an extra discount. Early purchase orders in fact will let us schedule the production more efficiently and cost effectively.

As you may realize, the kit includes the majority of parts required to upgrade the road car into a race car.

The new FIA Gr.R regulations have been conceived for a drastic cost limitation, taking advantage of mass-production parts and imposing, for the first time, the concept of the 'maximum allowed price'. That is why our Customers can buy a real race car for such attractive conditions

The New Type R Gr.A/Gr.R3 will certainly be the car-to-beat in Rally racing, thanks to the new regulations which will impose the same weight to all cars, while all strong points of the well known Type R engine (VTEC, VTC, outstanding output) will be maintaned. We expect the Civic to perform as good or better than a Super 1600, while costing half as much.

The new Type R will be also available upon request for circuit racing, in Gr.N, Gr.A or FIA SUPERPRODUCTION or Endurance

Wieso vergleichst du den ED9 mit dem EG2? Der EE8 zieht den EG2 ab und der ED9 den EH6
Ich vergleiche den ITr ja auch nicht mit einem EG6.
Mir sieht der neue CTR zu Spacig aus. Mir wäre ein ATR viel lieber. Oder das Ami Coupe als Type R.
